Teen Acting for the Serious Young Actor

Acting Gym
This class guides students through the foundational techniques of living truthfully in each moment on stage, emphasizing genuine emotional connections and authentic performances. Students will collaborate to create and showcase short scenes, applying learned skills in character development and scene analysis. Throughout the course, progress will be incrementally screened in an actual movie theater setting, providing a unique opportunity to observe and refine performances on the big screen. This immersive experience not only enhances acting abilities but also offers insight into the nuances of on-camera presence.

Acting in a Short Film Production
Under the guidance of seasoned actor, writer, and producer Chris Hill—known for his work in films such as The Dark Knight Rises and Ruin Me —you’ll delve into advanced acting techniques and collaborate to craft an original script. This script will be brought to life through high-quality production, culminating in a performance filmed with professional standards. Your completed work will be showcased during a final presentation at the historic Triangle Cinemas in Raleigh, NC, allowing you to experience your masterpiece on the big screen . This immersive program offers a comprehensive journey from scriptwriting to on-screen performance, providing invaluable experience in both acting and filmmaking.
